Jewish humor often makes outsiders feel uncomfortable; it's like wondering if you should laugh with the guy in a wheelchair who makes jokes about cripples. Plus, if you can't muster an obligatory chuckle, we may have to pull out the Holocaust card and you don't want to mess with that.
