Council nixes sick leave law on ballot 



When it comes to mandatory paid sick leave, the answer's still no. The Madison City Council on Tuesday night voted 10-8 against placing an advisory referendum regarding the proposed mandatory paid sick leave law on the Nov. 7 general election ballot.
