Dec. 8 (Bloomberg) -- McDonald's Corp., the world's largest restaurant company, said November sales rose 6.2 percent, buoyed by new hamburgers and game promotions in Europe.

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - McDonald's Corp. on Friday said its November sales at U.S. restaurants open more than a year rose 5.1%, helped by strength in its late-night and breakfast businesses and a chicken snack wrap launched earlier this year.
Soldier Killed Before Engagement Ring Reaches Fiancee
NEW YORK -- Within hours of hearing her love had been killed in Iraq, a soldier's fiancee got his engagement ring, his family said. Sgt. Yevgeniy Ryndych, 24, died Wednesday in Ramadi, the Defense Department said.
